hey there,

It finally happened. Bacon Chicken Alfredo has been dethroned (so says Le Boyfriend, but I tend to agree), by something so simple as sausage. I suppose, if anything was going to beat something with bacon, it better incorporate sausage. The recipe came from, wait for it, A Clean Plate! (I’ll change it up someday, I swear. But if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?) I paired it with cauliflower rice and thinly sliced sautéed sweet potato, both of those I just threw together. It was fan-de-tastic. Immediately after his first bite, Le Boyfriend uttered something unintelligible, then exclaimed ‘this is ******* amazing!’. I took a bite, tried not to toot my own horn, but agreed. It’s quite yum. Another success story, and another future dinner that will be requested again. Like tomorrow.
Anyway. I’ve been neglecting the rest of my life. I swear it hasn’t revolved around food as much as I have made it seem. Ok, maybe it has….
I started Tysabri several months ago, just had my 4th infusion. Nothing too major to report. I’ve felt like I’ve had the flu a bit over the last month, very achy, a few fevers. Hard to tell what’s what though, side effect? Actual virus? Who knows. Winter is my ‘good season’. But all quiet on the MS front for now. Just give it a few days though! At least that’s what it always feels like, something lurking and just waiting around the next turn, for the worst possible time. But until then, I’ll wait.
I’ve also been able to get back to my workouts, which is great. I’ve been doing some pretty intense upper/lower splits and seeing progress. Pretty happy and excited about all that!
