Welcome back to our mobility series!
We’ve already covered the lower part of the body in previous videos, now we’re onto our thoracic spine!
Our thoracic spine, otherwise known as your mid back, is really crucial in helping to lessen MS symptoms. Did you know that your thoracic spine makes up 50% of your spinal cord? There are also plenty of nerves that control many of our big movements, including our diaphragm movement.
Now, I’ve been talking a ton about breathing and it’s benefits. If you can’t move your thoracic spine well, you can only move your diaphragm so much!
So to say your thoracic spine mobility is important is an understatement.
